Penn State Vs. Elizabethtown

Elizabethtown Blue jays slaughters Penn State, leaving the score 25-17.


Blistering, sweaty and seriousness filled the room as some players seemed flustered while others started to become fired up. This game was going to be intense. The room felt magical. Everyone yelling on the top of their lungs and as soon as 12 p.m. arrived it became dead silent. Not the type of silence when the teacher tells the class to settle down, but the type of quietness that appears in the scary movies before a character dies. Then, BAM!


Suddenly, the room got cold. The wind whistled throughout the gym. Leaving everyone in goosebumps and chills, literally.

Elizabethtown Anna Simpson, also known as number 9 swiftly and gently spike the ball while falling to her doom. Her left knee broke her fall and yet as you seen the pain in her eyes from the glazed stare she gave her opponents she still managed to continue playing.

With the first two sets being done with, leaving them in a tie, It was anybody's game. Penn State winning the first set, 26-24, Then Elizabethtown strikes right back leaving them with 25-17.

A young boy, with light blonde hair and cherry colored lips with drool sliding to the side of his mouth stood up and screamed "LET'S GO, LET'S GO, BRING IT HOME." Giving the home team encouragement as they were trailing along from the current score. Elizabethtown wins the third set, 26-16.

Eyes widening and heart racing as time drops. Each hit is pulling heart strings and the room started baking. Time is clicking. Elizabethtown leading and Penn State Harrisburg trailing behind. Home fans pray for a miracle. The room shaked. A little girl cried out. A father yelled with excitement.


Elizabethtown takes home the win.
