BROOKLYN,NY- Emmanuel Baptist Church discusses fundraising ideas to get the church up and running again.
The Pastor, Gloria fears that if they don't get fundraising ideas up and going the church will shut down; "I'm so scared" Gloria said.
The church members came up with the idea to have a concert and a game night at church. They think these ideas will solve their money problems by having people donate and paying for the dinner that the members of the church will make.
Everyone has faith especially if the members of the church invites friends and family to come and is well promoted.
The biggest project that put the church in high debt was the Gloria's idea of redesigning the church's basement to make it more children friendly.
The basement is where the children go for bible study.
The redesigning of the basement including a new paint job, new tiles and instruments for the children to play with.
The pastor spent thousands of dollars trying to make the basement of the church more children friendly which is now the reason her church funds are low.
Besides the pastor being affected by this, several other church members are devastated about this news. Deborah, a choir member says; "if this church shuts down it doesn't only affect the church but the community too. We welcome so many people and give so many people hope."
